Windows Activation Problem Solved (0xC004F025)
If you're trying to validate Windows Vista, and when you click the link nothing happens, you're not alone. Same thing happened to me. Luckly I found the workaround to validate your copy...
1. From the Start menu, right click on the cmd window. If cmd application is not
visible type cmd in the "Start Search"
2. Scroll down and select "Run as Administrator"
3. run the command "slmgr -ato"
4. Wait for about 2 minutes, and you'll get a Script Host dialog box.
5. If all is successful, you'll get a success dialog. Otherwise, I have no idea what's wrong with your computer.
The reason for the problem is that Windows requires you to run activation as an administrator. Even though you are an administrator, Windows won't recognise it. I think it hates my PC. (I had the same problem with registering a DLL.) I contacted Microsoft about this bug, but have received no response. -Tyler
